120g | Fresh Mozzarella |
150g | Burrata |
1 | pre-prepared pizza dough recipe or one store bought pizza base |
1/4 cup | tomato passata |
8 | cherry tomatoes, halved |
2 Tbsp | good quality store bought pesto |
1 | Preheat oven (wood fired, tabletop pizza oven or conventional). |
2 | Place pizza base onto a floured or greased cooking tray or counter. |
3 | Spread passata over pizza, leaving approximately 15mm crust on edges. Meanwhile, remove the Burrata from the refrigerator to allow it to come to room temperature. |
4 | Slice Fresh Mozzarella into strips and place on top of base, along with the cherry tomatoes. |
5 | Cook in the oven until cheese starts to melt. |
6 | Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle with the basil pesto. Serve with the Burrata on top, and cut it open at the table before you slice the pizza. Enjoy immediately! |
