This season on Open Homes Australia, Adam Swanson is cooking up some wonderful recipes with La Casa Del Formaggio Cheeses. Episode 4 featured his recipe for Tuna Insalata. This beautifully cooked fresh tuna pairs perfectly with a light bocconcini salad.

  1. Heat a griddle pan on high. Coat tuna with a little olive oil and salt & pepper.
  2. Place tuna into the pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and allow to cool a on a plate.
  3. To make salad, cut the tomatoes into small chunks and place into a large bowl.
  4. Next tear pieces of bocconcini into the bowl. Slice the inner of the celery into small pieces and add celery leafs too.
  5. Finally break the tuna into pieces and tear the basil leafs into salad. Drizzle with a good amount of olive oil and balsamic. Add salt & pepper to taste. Gently toss together and serve.
